1999

Global Art & Creative is founded by Mr. Mahair Goh and after many years of teaching, with his vast experience and creativity he revolutionised a new teaching & learning methodology that will enhance children’s learning abilities & creativity, soon he created a new industry by Franchising his art programmes.

2000

Starting with 10 Franchisees and 1200 students in 1999, within 1 year the numbers of Franchisees have increased to 60 with a student population exceeding 8,000.

2001

2 years into the industry, globalart programme is recognised throughout Malaysia and soon globalart receives its first endorsement from one of the leading Art Academy in the country, Saito Academy.

2002

With a growing population of globalart members, globalart receives another endorsement  from the The One Academy. A landmark year for globalart by taking the programme into Brunei, globalart first International partner.

2003

First globalart International Competition in MidValley Megamall, K. Lumpur, Malaysia, with over 3000 participants with the theme ‘Save the Earth’.  Awarded by the Malaysia Book of Records for the Biggest Glass Painting. The inception of globalart Singapore and globalart Indonesia.

2004

The inception of globalart Thailand, globalart China, globalart Vietnam, globalart Australia & globalart India. Once again globalart was awarded by Malaysia Book of Records for The Largest Chain of Art Centers. 2nd globalart International Competition in Bukit Jalil Putra Stadium, K. Lumpur, Malaysia  with the theme ‘Yes, I can !’.

2005

With 9 countries and reaching 100,000 students worldwide, globalart Malaysia pledges to continue its effort in promoting the importance of Art & Creativity  by  organising seminars/exhibitions & competitions. 3rd globalart International Art Competition in Bangkok, Thailand with the theme ‘Happy Family, Happy Nation’.

2006

The inception of  globalart Sri Lanka & globalart Jordan. globalart receives another endorsement from The prestigious LimKokWing University.  4th globalart International Competition in Jakarta, Indonesia with the theme  ‘Colour the World’.

2007

globalart Indonesia was awarded The Largest Chain of Art Centers by MUSEUM REKOR DUNIA INDONESIA. globalart Founder receives Merit Award  for the 2007 Ten Outstanding Young Malaysian Award (Business & Entrepreneurialship) by JCI (Malaysia). 5th globalart International Competition in Cyberjaya (LimkokWing Campus), Malaysia with the theme ‘My Adventure with Globbie’.

2008

The inception of globalart Philippines. globalart receives The 2008 Young Entrepreneur Award from SMI/SME Malaysia. 6th globalart International Competition in Guang Zhou, China with the theme ‘Stop Global Warming’.

2009

globalart celebrates its 10th Years of Excellence by winning the 2009 ‘Innovation Excellence’ Award from SMI/SME Malaysia. globalart family grows with the inception of globalart Hanoi (Vietnam), globalart Cambodia & globalart Georgia (USA). 7th globalart International Competition in Novena, Singapore with the theme ‘The Wonderful World of Animals’.

2010

Founder, Mr. Mahair Goh receives the Honouree Award for  the  2010 TEN OUTSTANDING YOUNG MALAYSIAN AWARD  (Business Economic and/or Entrepreneurialship Accomplishment) from JCI (Malaysia). 8th globalart International Competition in Hyderabad, India with the theme ’1 World’.

2011

Founder receives the 2011 Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (CYEA) from JCI (Malaysia).  Implementation of globalart ‘ON-LINE SYSTEM’.  Endorsement from IACT College (Pathway to University). Launching of globalart Signature Centres and globalart Membercard. 9th globalart International Competition in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with the  theme ‘My World, My Future’.
